The Government of Maharashtra announced a new rural health initiative called “My Village, Healthy Village” with a budget of ₹80 crore for 2026–27. It targets better sanitation, water supply, maternal and child health, and lifestyle improvements in villages. Villages will be assessed and rewarded for meeting health targets
